Lens Treatments & Options:
Anti-Reflective (AR) Coating:
Eliminates reflected light sources, essentially allowing you to see 10% better without changing your prescription. While
it cosmetically looks better, preformance is the key! Higher end coatings also have a hard coat built in to
provide durability, enhanced protection and help prevent minor surface scratches.
Mirror Coating:
Available in various colors including: Blue, Gold, and Silver.
Polarization: A laminate
film in the lens designed to absorb horizontal reflected light. An essential component for the perfect sunglasses.
Available in various colors. Ideal for patients who deal with light sensitivity. A true necessity for anyone who
enjoys being outdoors and especially fisherman, as it allows you to see into the water.
Scratch Coating: While there is no such thing as "SCRATCH PROOF", this hard coating will
help prevent minor scratches.
Tint: Solid color or Gradient tints, available in a wide variety
of color options.
Transitions: Lenses that react to UV light and automatically adjust to protect
your eyes. Great for everyday wear, these are the lenses of the future. The degree to which the lenses darken
is dependent on the amount of exposure and length of time. Available in Grey
or Brown. Check the Transitions website for more information about
"Transitions VI". The latest formulation that is naturally clearer, gets even darker and changes
faster than ever.
Transitions Xtra Active is also now available
for those seeking even darker lenses. They react to ambient light as well as UV so they do activate while you're behind
the wheel.
